There is no parking lot for the park so all parking is on the neighborhood street or across the main road in the mall parking lot. There is a lot of traffic noise because the fields are up an incline and right next to the road. There are only 2 fields and they are ok but the lighting on the fields are not that great. There is a bathroom and 2 portable bathrooms but none of them are clean. It is definitely not one of the better ball parks in the area.

I ride by this park in Roanoke Va all the time and see people hosting parties. Plenty of room under picnic areas. Not sure if they have outside grills. I have walked the perimeter a few times and it had a nice paved walkway. Be careful parking and backing out. It's a little weird and folks just don't pay attention. It cuts straight through to Valley view Mall also. The "unhoused" were frequentimg this place quite a but but everyone one was always nice. Never had a problem and unless I offered no one asked me for anything.

The park isn't bad. It has a hockey field, and basketball court and of course the playground. The playground was small compared to others but the kids still had fun. The bathrooms on the other hand were disgusting. Toilets didn't flush and were packed with toilet paper. There is no soap in the bathrooms either. Junkies hang out around there and there were used needles around the bathroom. Would not let your kids roam around freely without someone being around them to make sure they didn't pick anything up.

Great park, good covered patio area, fenced in courts and fields. Wish the lights actually turned on at night.

My son likes this park I don’t particularly like it . I guess it’s OK but I won’t rate Huff Lane very high. One reason I won’t rate it high is because I had a very strange man approach me asking me for my number and he was very persistent and wouldn’t leave me alone , I was actually a little afraid. My son had to tell him to leave me alone and he threatened my son . My son says 1 person doesn’t represent the entire park and he’s right but it just makes me so uncomfortable . My son enjoys the basketball court and shooting around but you can’t see where you’re shooting the ball from ,because the court is not marked. So I don’t see how he enjoys it but he enjoys it sometime .
